The Service uses no cookies, no advertising, no third-party tracker and no social media buttons that would follow you. That is why no consent banner is shown.
It only uses your browser’s local storage: for what the service you request strictly needs, and for our own anonymous audience measurement. Both are exempt from consent under French and EU rules (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, as interpreted by the CNIL).

At checkout you are redirected to Polar’s secure payment page, which (with its card processor Stripe) sets its own cookies needed for payment security and fraud prevention, under its privacy policy.
You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings; your local progress is then lost unless you are signed in.
Audience measurement
To understand what works and improve the Service, we measure how it is used: where visitors come from, which pages and stories they open and how far they get, which buttons they see and click, sales per visit, loading times and errors. This measurement is ours alone and runs on our own database in the European Union: no third party, no cookie. It uses a random identifier that is never linked to your Account or email, no IP address is stored, the data is never combined with other data or shared, the identifier lasts 13 months at most and the data 25 months at most. Details in the privacy policy (3.7).
You can switch it off at any time; it then stops at once in this browser and its identifier is erased:
